Valenta Family (FranApple) Personal Nightmare with Unfair Child Support Laws

We were a very happy family.
Jim and I knew we were Soul-Mates.
There was never a dull moment in our lives.
Please have your lawyers use the following phrase,

and I were enjoying
a quiet time during Christmas festivities, at my grown daughter's house.
My family consisted of
My two daughters, their husbands, my three grandchildren,
my husband and I,
Jim's sons Younger son and Joshua,
Fran's sons David and Jonathan.
Jim had custody of his sons. His daughter lived with her mother.
His ex-wife sued for custody every fall.

1995 This is the year that she convinced her daughter to help her get custody!
1996
My husband finally signed custody to her in the spring of 1997
She would promise his children all kinds of trips and gifts
in exchange for them keeping secrets from their Dad and step-mom.
Over at her house Dad was known as the fat fag I was known as the bitch.
Over and over the lies about us just kept coming.
You can't repute the lies until your case goes before a custody judge.
Most time the issue of custody is settled before that happens. In our case the Court appointed "Forensic Therapist" who
would not go on the record as to which side was telling the "Truth".
Because the boys had been so brainwashed by the Mom
my husband finally gave up!
We told the therapists for years that if she got custody she would move
the children out of state.
They just kept saying "She wouldn't keep the children from their father".
Three months later we got the call.
Can I move to Virginia, I got a job there.
Jim signed the papers with the understanding (in writing)
that she would send the phone number and address.
That was in the fall of 1998.
We haven't seen or heard from them since.
We recieved the papers
that she had requested Child Support.
in them was the address and phone number.

In the fall of 1999 Jim went to the deterimation hearing.
He had been down sized from his job as a
nuclear power plant operator in the fall of 1997.
He had been with that company for 16 years.
Jim was seeking employment and had a few interviews.
But he did not have a job.
They based his amount of child support $105 per week,
on an application that he had put in to 84 Lumber.
Their starting pay would have been $384. per week. He didn't get a job until the following spring.
Now November 12, 2001 the arrears are still over $2300.
There was an agreement between the DA and our lawyer
before we even entered the court room, Jim never had a chance.

People across this country are lying in court everyday.
Parents use children as pawns as though they are playing a game that someone actually wins!.
Families are being ruined!

Jim finally gave up and gave custody to
his ex-wife after school ended in 1998
I packed the boys belongings, she was on her way to pick them up.
Step-son age 10 was sitting on my lap.
He said, "Mom I'll see you when I'm growed up".
Step-son age 10 will be 15 in December.
Josh will turned 16 in May
This was the fourth birthday and Christmas
without being able to see or hear from Jim's sons.
After they left I cried, somtimes I still cry.

Josh is now living with us and we are trying to get regular visits with my younger step-son.

Jim still has not had a visit with his youngest son.

Laws need to be changed and new laws must be fair!
The destruction to American families must end.

My son-in-law Gerr has no relationship with his grown daughters who are now in college. He would try to visit and when he would go to pick them up, no one would be there. This went on for years until he just gave up. Though he still paid child support and health benefits until in the fall 2000 his daughters were 19 and 20. His daughters go to family events such as a weddings and they do not even speak to their father. My daughter Rebecca has been with Gerr since 1993 and I can't see any reason that his ex-wife would have been so bitter towards him.
Emily Jane turned 6 on December 29, 2004. Gracie turned 2.
